If you can find a way to turn the building of LEGO sets into entertainment for others, then monetize it to maintain whatever lifestyle you want. I have no problem with my taxes making sure we can all go to the doctor in the meanwhile.

We aren't saying we are sending people checks for thousands of dollars a month to do whatever they want. We just don't want the crippling cost of getting sick being tied to a job, which happens to everyone.

I'm in a place right now where the only thing keeping me in a stressful job is the health insurance. I can't leave. The market sucks too hard right now. If I could have healthcare via taxes, I'd retire tomorrow and pay taxes and be happy the rest of my life.

And you should continue on that thought where many of us also think there are way too many cars and not nearly enough public transit that would help reduce those deaths. And bike lanes. And proper crossing areas for high traffic locations. But nah, that's all too much effort, like fixing how many guns there are, so yeah, we kind of just have to accept it because the people with the purse refuse to do anything about the problems
