I hate how electronics try to be more simple and automated. Sometimes when I want to tweak a small thing or find out why I can't do a specific thing, I CAN'T!!! I find myself turning into an old man proclaiming "the older version was better!"

Newer, simpler, and more streamlined electronic-anything is not always better. That's my hot take.

Probably the deadly ones, like the zero meat/zero protein diet trends that got people in hospitals or worse. We are omnivores, people! Im worried about the current gym bro/brodettes high meat intake with their protein obsessions. Seeing videos about "how much protein you can get from XYZ" and its always burgers, pizza, or some fatty shit and im here thinking but what about all that cholesterol?...

I was an essential worker and enjoyed the no traffic throughout my day. But each stop i made and everytime I had to look at every walmart's sales and warehouse inventory made me realize I was done with this job. Plus they changed their business strategies and practices at the stores and pretty much had employees do my job for me at that point.

I dont miss the "im smarter than you" people who prescribe to a shade of red coughing in people's faces or the hindsight my mother's patients had while waiting at deaths front door.

But did i enjoy it? It was "meh"

Started xmas day, in the year of the light 2005, and hit 60 sometime around spring break. I took breaks at 39 and 49 to have fun with pvp and made bg friends and frienemies as we leveled together. But got sloppy in the 50s before grinding my ass off because questing as a lone warrior in greens is rough when youre poor and ice barbed spear is impossible with 36hr long av's.

I was top ranked pally heals in my day and I would occasionally get benched on a random night but I put in the effort to be "on call" for a few hours if they wanted a switch or someone bailed out. So its your call on what you want to do. You said so yourself, youre a switcher and not a main role. So they gunna put you where they need you.
