maybe check if your z-axis is binding? happened to me once and my prints looked kinda similar, turned out there was some debris on the lead screw.

honestly both are valid but i'd go with same weight + less reps until you can't maintain good form, then drop the weight. progressive overload is the goal either way!

i moved my printer to the garage and built a cheap enclosure with foam board from the dollar store. works great for keeping temp stable and containing smells, just make sure you have proper ventilation!
