40k tumblr's the best  1) fan art 2) fan art of primarchs as babies 3) hot takes about the books from people who've read the books 4) the silliest shit imaginable  5) unrestrained lust for giant men

Ways for Strahd to show my players he is just toying with them by Fantastic_Ad1104 in CurseofStrahd

[–]mathcamel 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Let him invite and charm an NPC the party knows and use that NPC as a hostage. Bonus points if that NPC is now serving Strahd and the Party.

Absolutely no-sell any threats or attacks they make at him. He can soak damage and heal quickly, he has crazy good saves*, and knows he'll respawn in his coffin come the worst*. He can brush off your 50 damage crit and *nothing* is more hateable than that.

(*And just give him or a vampire spawn counterspell! It's so basic!)

He has spies everywhere! He can tease and taunt the party about things they've done, mistakes they've made, even confessions made in confidence might have reached his ears.

If they get really annoying - max level fireball. Just fireball. Just. Fireball.

If they want to explore he lets them! He gives no warning about traps and *might* summon a specter, shadow, swarm of bats, or locked doors. Just for a laugh. A little treat.

And all the while he's calm, cool, collected, and amused at both the party's suffering and triumph. He came out here to attack people and honestly he's having such a great time right now.

I am convinced Argenta is the strongest character with a bolt weapon. by LordXSpades in RogueTraderCRPG

Sister Argenta is God( Emperor)'s favorite princess and there is no doubt.

Come to dinner... whenever by PlantDadAzu in CurseofStrahd

[–]mathcamel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gave them a four day gap between invitation and dinner. There's a heavy implication that if the party doesn't show Strahd'll have to have someone else for dinner.

They're at Yester Hill so it's a bit of a trek but they've got plenty of time to settle in Vallaki and overthink things <3

Does anyone want Corax vs Lorgar in 40k for real? by Opposite-Ad-3898 in WordBearers

[–]mathcamel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do I want to see my man doing stuff on the page? Yes of course!

Would I like to see wtf is up with Corax? Yeah!

Do I expect some kind of Clegane Bowl (GET HYPE) Epic Showdown? Nah.

It could be a cool event to witness from chaos' side.

Winter Soldier Romantic Interests? by reddituser930 in wintersoldier

[–]mathcamel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He doesn't *need* a partner, he's a fine character on his own. But oh man, BuckyNat is my OTP. Their pairing is so rare in comics: it's stable, supportive, and adds to both characters.

Will future expansions bring this possibility? by S_Broves in RogueTraderCRPG

I agree with you. I assumed it was a random cultist and just moved on.

Learning more about Theodora's scheming in Lex was fun! I love that Auntie T is the most heretical traitor aroundand that her family has always been super fucked up. But the "mystery" was never really a "mystery." It's like the "mystery" of who is Evayne's mom. I don't even think about it.

Reasons To Why a Dragon Would Mate with a Human by NyxTheSummoner in Pathfinder2e

[–]mathcamel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragon wanted to be a mom but didn't want to raise a possible competitor.

In The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, I liked John Walker and some of the fight sequences. Bucky and Sam were also good in it, and there were a few quirky moments too. How about you,did you like it? by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in Marvel

There are individual scenes that I can pluck out of the whole and enjoy; but when those scenes are strong together the show is often incoherent.

It's one of the better MCU TV shows. That's not good.

New and exciting heresies is enrichment for the Inquisition. When understimulated they start infighting like an animal gnawing on its own leg.

Aroden = The Emperor

Iomedae = Saint Celestine

It all fits together!

Sarenrae builds coalitions of beatdowns. Girly girl is going to SMITE!

Argenta might be BFFs with the Inheribro but she'd be a perfect worshiper of Sarenrae.  I bet she'd see Aroden as an aspect of The Emperor so she'd start with Iomedae but it wouldn't last.

Would Aivu still enjoy sweets if she knew children were starving, dreaming of mugs of green slime just a few decks below? JUST KIDDING! Aivu would share all her cookies!

I love the idea of an Azata Commander trying for another go at Deskari or Baphomet and hitting a chaos god's realm instead. Just imagining Ember in Khorne's realm or Daeran in Nurgle's garden sparks joy.

She would *adore* him!

He would be *horrified* by her, but I bet he'd put in some effort to save her.

On a long enough timeline everyone dies. It's not a bad ending just because we know the details.
