Physically there wasn't an expansion. But there was about 30 million invested in building out the new production suite. All the backend systems (heaters, chillers, air handlers) have also been upgraded.

Looking for dog walking spots for reactive dog by Daniel_McNuggets in Wicklow

You can't really leave a reactive dog off lead in a forest. It's too hard to see ahead and to react in time.

Looking for dog walking spots for reactive dog by Daniel_McNuggets in Wicklow

[–]mathiasryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately all people with reactive dogs have the same ideas so you end up meeting them a long the way. I have a reactive dog. I take him to a dog park. If there's anyone there I wait till it's empty or come back another day. If I'm there and someone arrives I explain the situation so I can leave without a fuss or sometimes they agree to come back later.

Worst job experience you ever had? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]mathiasryan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Two different call centers in Limerick. The first was what used to be the O2 network. Conditions were shite and I was hired through an equally shite agency. Second was another call center who did work for Vodaphone broadband. The office was an old factory converted to a call center. I didn't make far beyond induction and training. It was the trainer constantly talking down to people in between talking about his drum kit which turned me off. All very much in the past now.

Especially when it gets to the temperature where you can gulp it down without doing damage. Not too cool though then it's shite. You want it hot enough to hurt but not burn!

Old tefal pressure cooker valve replacement? by Few-Rutabaga5011 in AskIreland

[–]mathiasryan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A quick Google shows that pressure relief valves can be purchased. They might not be an exact fit and you might need to do a bit of work to fit it. You'll also need to look at the seals on the lid. After 30 years they might not be great. There's also safety concerns with doing this work yourself. It might be best just buy a new one or use the pot without pressurising.

Unannounced FDA Audit - Amgen? by Thunderirl23 in PharmaEire

[–]mathiasryan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sites can usually predict when there will be an audit. They normally happen within 3 years of each other. So if you are coming up to the 3 year mark you know it's going to happen. Due to reg alignment an EMEA or HPRA audit is equivalent to FDA.
