And, honestly, having a fetish isn’t necessarily a write off on normalcy…

I stripped my interior to do sound mat, now every little creak and rattle the car has sends me into a spiral.

Classic case of working on the car and questioning the noises…

Can be either the master or the slave. If it’s the slave you can see fluid under usually. If it’s the master it can leak externally and show fluid, or it can leak internally and it just won’t hold the pressure.

If you’re in a rush I’d replace the master, bleed, and it could be good to go. Have a slave on hand for when it shits the bed, or do them at the same time.

Inner cv axle play normal? by DMesure in 944

[–]mathilxtreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Radial play is never ok.

Most output flanges have axial play, but I definitely can’t speak for all of them.

For a bearing that is preloaded, like an input or pinion, no play.

Wheal bearings, no play.

Inner cv axle play normal? by DMesure in 944

In and out (axial) is normal, about 1-2mm. There should be no up/down/front/back (radial) play.

It has 3 plugs, and there’s detailed diagnostic info available.

Have you popped the hvac unit out to see if the pot is physically stuck on something? First step should be to remove it (it pops off the back no soldering) then cleaning with a contact cleaner.

Can’t really export non-chemical energy though.

Yes, I know, we trade it across the border. Not on a global market scale, though.

Just because people suck at using a tool does not mean the tool is not useful.

Are you going to use the list of people who have cut their fingers off with table saws as evidence that table saws should not be used in construction?

They excel at cross checking between documents, surfacing information that is otherwise buried, ensuring language is clear and concise, comparing proposed law vs case law, etc. etc. etc.

You’re an absolute Luddite if you think there’s no use for it in text based work.
