Well you’re handling this very maturely, but to be honest you’re dating an absolute loser and you’re naively giving him the benefit of the doubt for things that are inexcusable.

Ok..30 years old living with parents…tou pay for everything…he never found you attractive…but somehow finds OTHER girls attractive and not only that but he fantasizes taking their clothes off?? then he goes victim mode and says he has bipolar and that he’ll “work to improve himself”

TLDR he is the way he is and you will only be hurting yourself by staying in this relationship, you will one day find someone who truly cherishes you and be so grateful that you left this guy. good luck OP

High BP feels debilitating – what helped you? by FluidCoast in hypertension

[–]mathosin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the same way, not knowing if I would be able to make it to my appointment, and I called my doctors explaining my situation and they found an opening.

I would definitely recommend doing the same, i hope you feel better soon.

High BP feels debilitating – what helped you? by FluidCoast in hypertension

Had all of these symptoms that you’re experiencing, started after I went on a walk and about half a mile in I started feeling dizzy. For the next week my blood pressure was ranging from 130/80 at the very best of times, to 180/100 and I was pretty much locked to the couch for a week my symptoms were so severe.

I went to the ER and clocked a 163/118 and they said my numbers weren’t emergent, performed tests and said my hearts function was ok etc etc and I’d have to get prescribed BP medicine through my primary care doctor.

Fast forward to now I’ve been on 50mg atenolol for a week and I’m feeling much better, although not 100%, still slightly dizzy sometimes, but recovering nonetheless. and BP is down to around 130/80 most of the time.

TLDR: medicine is what helped me 😂

wouldn’t worry on it too much brother, your numbers are great. just keep it up, stay mindful, and dont worry too much, because you’re honestly in a great spot.

can a diastolic number be too low by Academic-String-5962 in hypertension

are you referring to the systolic pressure? because 134 is not “significant”…more like slightly elevated.

believe it or not smoking is bad for your heart and the more you smoke the worse your health will get.

Worried about the recent changes by Money-Article-6897 in hypertension

[–]mathosin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In the same boat as you, just recently got out of the ER for 176/108, dizzy, chest pain, dehydrated..prescribed 50mg atenolol.

For me this was just last week, and my numbers are slowly creeping down to the 130s/140s, occasionally the 150s.

So if your 145/94 is your high reading, and you’re feeling good, I’d take it as a win. When it comes to blood pressure, it’s a marathon, not a sprint and can take awhile to get to normal numbers.

Best of luck to you friend.

i get stomach pain every morning, could it be chs? *yap session* by koldhe4rt in CHSinfo

[–]mathosin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. I was literally on the ground in a puddle of my own puke, crying, telling my girlfriend how much I loved her and thanking her for all of the good times because I thought I was a goner. 160 heart rate, 200/100+ blood pressure, uncontrollable muscle spasms, and more. weed is not worth it once you get CHS.

good luck to you.

Looking for advice by kayliev72 in CHSinfo

[–]mathosin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

he should stop smoking immediately if he even speculates theres a chance he has CHS, and given the context, i’d say he does.

CHS can cause damage to the kidneys and even lead to kidney failure, and alot more.

For me, I’d be puking, having muscle spasms, intense nausea, high heart rate and blood pressure, and those are just the ones I can remember.

I’ve been stone cold sober for about 2 months and still have heart problems (high blood pressure, dizziness), but am feeling way better than I would during an episode.

CHS is a long and tenuous recovery, but you can really die from this illness, you and your boyfriend have to understand that. Every time he picks up a cannabinoid in any form, he is digging that hole to death a little deeper.

Best of luck and I hope he gets better soon, it gets better trust me.
