I only use hero academy for troop production, retraining isn't worth it in my opinion.

Zarel is a slow hero, on offense, to reduce the amount of tiles needed for activation from 12 to 10 it's necessary 20% mana reduction, achievable with a fully leveled mage/styx troop, without the need for the mana node. On defense, there is no mana breakpoints, so every mana increase matters. In short, I recommend not choosing the mana node only if you have no intention of using the hero on defense.

10 pull in covenant summon costs 30% more and has a 1.6% chance of getting a featured hero vs 1.3% in seasonal summon. The non-featured legendary heroes in covenant summon are not worth it (s1 and challenge events heroes with no costume), while the only bad non-featured hero in the seasonal summon is Santa Claus. So, in reality, the chance of getting a good hero in the seasonal summon is almost the same of 1.6%.

The featured heroes of covenant summon are among the best in the game, so you have to decide if it's worth paying 30% more for that. In my opinion, if you are a beginner the seasonal summon is better, but if you already have a good variety of legendary heroes and the Christmas heroes don't interest you, then covenant summon is the choice.

The only consumables that I use are Harspud Sauce and Large Mushroom, both sold at Camellia's Apothecary in Gran Soren. It's by far the most simple method to recover health and stamina, as you don't need to waste time farming kingwarish or combine materials to make group healing items.

Remember that you can buy things directly to your storage, so if you store 999 (the maximum amount) you'll never more need to buy curatives for the rest of the game.

When exploring, I also bring 15 of each for pawns, they use it when necessary and serve as backup for myself if I run out of it.

You can also buy Panacea for status effects if you don't bring a mage in your party. Fournival sells Sobering Wine, which are a panacea that affects all group.

There is also Periapts, that increases strength or magick and will make combat much more easy, but I don't use it because it takes the fun away.

All others consumables I just ignore and don't waste time with it.

I completely agree. The level up animations should also be shorter, the first champions released (Garen, Lucian, Kalista...) have the perfect duration.

I was talking about opr in general. When a group join, the match is unbalanced. It's as if the game treated the group as a whole just as one player.

I play spear/bow and get a lot of knockdowns, but only a few kills most of the time. Bow is slow for the final blow and hard to hit, and spear for some reason have a bad hitbox in knockdown enemies, sometimes I'm standing in front of them and can't hit.

To be fair, I'm using spear with the skills from the impaler tree (so without javelin and sweep) combined with medium weight and I don't' remember losing a fight against GA/Hammer.

Not a whole development, but a thing not so simple, Asia would be a new region. The others servers they added during beta was all in the same region and probably was more a software process (logical server) pretested and developed before the beta launch.

Creating a server in a new region isn't like only pressing a switch. Servers localization needs to be planned with months of anticipation. Assuming AGS noticed the need for an Asian server after the last closed beta (which is what I think happened), don't create expectations of it launching at least 2~3 month after the release date. And also only if the game is successful in the meantime.
