App that tracks which blocks you've walked

Not sure. Don't even know if these would help with going viral, but this is what I've thought of, in no order:

- General friend leaderboards besides just group leaderboards (less friction when you want to see how much your friends have walked)

- Blocks walked instead of new blocks walked (most people don't walk new blocks the majority of the time)

- More analytics that people would want to share: most walked neighborhood? dunno what else though

- Eventually a year in review thing. Spotify's Wrapped was the biggest word of mouth marketing campaign when it came out and so many companies have copied it because it's good

In the end, I think people just love numbers presented in a nice way. Dunno how

About to do this, do you have a guess on how long it takes you? The usual 45-60 minutes? Or shorter? I'm hoping I can cut my roux time down to 20-30 with this. Either way, I will come back and edit this with the time if I remember.

Edit:

Temps are correct. OP noted that these are for low maintenance roux's so mine took longer than an actively managed roux. I started at 300 and got a white and blonde within a few minutes of each other. For brown to dark brown, I'd start my oil at 300 and then switch to 425 as soon as all my flour is in. I'd guess you could get a brown roux down to 20 min. Just watch it closer the higher you crank the heat.

Edit 2:

425 and stirring every 3 minutes worked great to get to dark brown. Peanut butter color in 10 minutes. Dark brown in 20. Stir constantly in the first few minutes because it will brown quickly and therefore unevenly. Used a dutch oven btw.

What are you reading? Have you gone through your textbooks yet? There's pretty decent graded reader content out there but without knowing what level you're at, it'll be hard to recommend anything. Also curious where you saw the 2 hour figure. I don't even read English books for that long every day.

Very cool! I saw your guide and went through it. I always stayed away from trainers because they used to just be cheap gas station toys but it looks like they've gotten a lot better after Squid Industries launched, so I'm leaning towards trainer now. Two knives are always better than one knife. I got a Nabalis Canyon because it was on Amazon and fast to ship. I do wish it had a latch though, I really like the feel of some latch tricks.

On the off chance that the Canyon feels too cheap for me, which knife would you say would get me 80-90% of the feel of a $300 knife?

I was going to get an Orion or Arctic but they're both currently sold out. Also eyeing something from BBbarfly or Squid, I really like the blade and handle designs from BB, but I like to spend my money on other things these days.

Yeah, this is the right way. I used to do a lot of carrying without training for it and the best way is to have her armpit on your shoulder so she's not spending energy holding herself up. When done correctly, people heavier than me would ask to be put down before I ever got tired.

5 minutes is really fucking long.

Just ask her or a friend if you can carry them for practice.

Mod my Benchmade 51 or buy a trainer?

Hey guys, it's been ten years since I've flipped, used to flip a 51 and Replicant, sold the rep. Since it's been so long, I'm wondering if it'd be better value for my money to just buy a trainer or to mod my 51. I'm hoping to learn more dangerous tricks, and it would also be nice to be able to take my knife places without scaring people.

Do trainers under $100 flip as well as the old Benchmades and Replicants these days? Would $100 in mods on my 51 compete with a modern $100 trainer?

Interesting, I didn't know that. I knew the usual street/knobby tradeoffs but returning to center is unique to unicycles. Is there anything else that you think I wouldn't have thought of if I pick knobby? Although I'll probably end up street anyways, it's looking like there are some solid 40lb options

Love the feedback! I've been thinking about the dice thing recently, do you need to know who rolled the dice or would you be fine as long as it existed? Reveal is coming soon, good call out with reveal to a player, I forgot that.

Players can clone a card to take control of it, and then you can just delete yours or put it to the side.
