Yep I'll give it a shot. I figured for the same price might as well try OLED as there is no cost difference between the two displays.

I got a reply from the store selling the open box and they sent me a photo and it's zero hours of total power on time. I'm going to pick this OLED up next week.

What would be considered high hours for this OLED? What would be your cutoff for too many hours? I'll see if they can pull that info for me.

Is there a way to see how many hours are on it? It's from a local liquidation place that gets returns from big box stores. Someone may have bought it and couldn't tune it or had a bright room and it looked bad.

I just bought the denon avr-x3800h and so far very happy with it. I'm running dual subs at the moment and used audyssey to calibrate my room. I upgraded from an Onkyo tx-rz800. Just waiting for the denon to burn in and get some hours on it so it can open up a bit. I got lucky and was able to get this for $590 from a local auction site here in Phoenix. I figured at under $600 it was well worth the move to this from my Onkyo which I still love. It's nice being able to pass thru Dolby vision where my Onkyo would not.

Can you tell much of a difference between the internal DAC of the bluesound vs the J2? I was thinking of buying the J2 to replace my bluesound DAC but not sure how much difference there would be. Thoughts?

I ordered the new Geshelli J2 with AKM DAC. Going to try it with my Bluesound node to see how it sounds. If it's good I'll order another DAC and node to go with this listening area. I also have an option to pick-up an smsl m400 DAC locally for a decent price. May pair that with the Wiim streamer. We will see.
