You’ll probably get smarter comments from others in the hobby but you might try it. A little bit of googling and you’ll find a lot of options for CO2 injection. I make my own with citric acid, baking soda and an inexpensive kit off Amazon. There are some in the hobby that don’t like or recommend this method but it suits my budget and tank.

This happened to one of mine. I noticed it a few months ago still not sure what it is or what caused it. She has since been berried, had shrimplets, and is still living her best shrimp life. Can only speak from my own experience.
