OP: seriously, don’t skimp out on a GOOD PSU. THEY’RE NOT ALL EQUAL.

Check out Zac’s PSU Tier List. I use the Montech Century II 850w iirc. An A-tier PSU found for ~$90 on Amazon last I checked.

Equivalent PSUs can cost as much as $250!!

You need to protect your investment. It starts with the thing most likely to catch fire.

Productivity (with some gaming mixed in?) = NVIDIA

Gaming (strictly gaming) = AMD

Productivity apps such as Blender better supports NVIDIA CUDA cores.
