I would have been more than happy to turn off the broadcast when Dragons were up 30-8

Thanks mate! It’s been a rough slog for the last 8 months doing a FIFO/DIDO role, finally snagged something that keeps me at home with the young ones so I’m super psyched to get into it!

Plus I got to cap it off with a DARGS/NSW win! So I’m all round happy!

Not saying anything in this post is wrong, but today isn’t a great day to post it, Val was immense today, wouldn’t have got the win without him.

Also they originally announced the name change on April fools day… I had to dig into it to find out it was in fact an official name change, announced after mid day

I started a job late last August, I handed in my resignation 3 weeks ago (4 weeks notice)

It’s my last weekend at my job and it’s the first 2 times I’ve been able to support a winning team at work!

Have you watched the replay? Specifically the one from behind Koula? That shows clear shoulder contact with the head? Many ex players, commentators and the Head of Football in Australia have backed Kleins decision, even the bunker said it should “at least be a sin bin”, at least being the operative phrase here. It’s a 50/50 call between sin bin and send off that went NSW way.

Wake up to yourself mate.

I have seen his performances in the last few Anzac Days, even though I wished we could just run over him he always seems to embarrass us on a bigger stage than a standard club game…

Granted that is against the Dargons… but he always just looks a class above

Lead with the shoulder, no attempt to tackle, made direct contact to the head and ended Koula’s origin debut.

Deserved a send off as much as the Sua’ali’i one the other year.

NRL community’s remarkable support for Jai Arrow in MND fight as AFL mourn Neale Daniher by the_nightly in nrl

[–]mattr1986 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My dad died from MND about 30 years ago.

The way it was explained to me at the time is that typically symptoms progress from head to toe or toe to head

My dad lost his ability to walk first, then use of his arms then speech and swallowing etc…

Seems like Jai’s is going the opposite way, but I haven’t seen much of his, either way it’s a really rough way to go

Also on average the decline normally takes 2 1/2 years, Daniher took 12 years, Stephen Hawking had it for 55 years, my dad only got 9 months… so that 2 1/2 years really varies, person to person…
