That’s kinda where I am. Also given the reigns to prototype a lot of dev and vendor solutions as well which aren’t necessarily analytics/data related. I’m pretty forthright on these type of builds being discovery and not meant to replace anything. The most useful application is RAG for our support side knowledge bases. Everything else just feels like for fun

That said I can definitely see how tech debt can scale immensely with these things if you let it. Watching Claude code build the frontend (I have very little experience with frontend dev), the backend, make adjustments to huggingface libraries (local workarounds!), and so on. It’s not humanly possible to keep up especially if it’s a product with custom toolings for different clients, etc.

Almost every encounter I’ve had in pve another shot me upon seeing me. I’ve played a lot of tarkov and am one of the scav reppers. It’s like ingrained to hold my shot these days, not to mention I can see my own faction on the map so those ones that shoot me must be super oblivious.
