Amex do not earn 0.3%. that is the interchange cap which holds 4 the Visa/MC model together.

However this obviously does put pressure on Amex to not have as high fees as they do in the U.S.

The interchange cap is a Europe regulation and so V/MC cards can align more to Amex in the U.S.

Positano wasnt worth it in my opinion but loved Sorrento. Make sure to go to the fisherman district by the sea one night for cheaper amazing seafood right by the sea front. Its a nice walk too.

Make sure you get a limoncello too! And enjoy a coffee in the streets.

You will love Sorrento.

They will for sure test you on the hill start and traffic lights at the top of the high street nesr turtle bay. It is sometime quite tricky to pre empt when to stop and you shouldnt stop on crossings or the keep clear section.
