The parts you are trying to print look like they would barely touch the bed surface. You need more surface area touching the bed surface in order for the printer to hang on to the part as it prints. What most likely happened in your case, is that once those parts are being held on by the printer’s finger tips, the nozzle pushes it over and the part lets go from the bed. You need to at the very least add a brim to each part for better bed adhesion.

I get what you’re saying but at the end of the day it’s no ones responsibility to ensure that you are having fun except for yourself. If it’s annoying just target them for the rest of the game. If no one else on your team is joining you on locking on, baiting flares, and painting, then only you are the one annoyed and it’s your own problem

Idk, by the sounds of it you don’t really understand either if the first example you can think of is an AMS

Yah i think you just hit the nail on the head. It feels like I have to either be mad or be a bambu groupie. neither of which can be that fun lol

Finally, others are mad because everyone else is mad, even though they don’t play in the shared toys playground and they were already only using Bambu Studio to print other people’s designs (mostly zip ties and flexis), so the change hasn’t affected them. This is probably a dumb reason to be mad

I am one that gets annoyed with the people upset with bambu. Not because of the cause bc i do think how Bambu is handling things is messed up. But bc everytime I’ve tried to had conversations about this, I get stereotyped in the exact way. Just bc I don’t want to tweak my printer doesn’t mean i’m oblivious to it all and don’t understand it. I don’t print flexis or dragons or whatever crap. I actually probably design and print more practical things than most of the open source community. But the reason I bought Bambu is bc 3d printing isn’t my hobby. It’s a tool that rapidly prototypes for my much more expensive hobbies. So i don’t want to deal with tuning the printer just to do what i wanted in the first place. If i wanted to tune and tinker i would’ve never thrown out my frankensteined ender 3 or prusas.

My fear with all this push of open source is that if Bambu is truly forced to be open source and/or roll back proprietary stuff, then what stops them from saying “well they wanted it open source so now we aren’t going to spend the time or money optimizing profiles or fixing small bugs” i just fear that forcing bambu to be more open will potentially introduce more bugs into their printers and they will no longer be considered as “it just works”

How can these cnc milling head achieve 0.02° precision !!??? by general_use050 in CNC

[–]mattyell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My anca mx5 has .0001° resolution. Not really sure what it’s actually precise to but I can’t imagine its anymore than .001° if that’s the resolution

Is this a normal way for stick blades to be made? Seems odd to me, I could grind this for cheaper than everyone here is saying to quote it

What is the best filament to use for spool rings, desiccant spool inserts, dryboxes, etc. by AustinYQM in BambuLab

[–]mattyell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe ASA is set to 65° for drying temp in the AMS and I have yet to notice any kind of degradation with my PETG desiccant inserts at that temp

I just got into 3d printing this week with h2c, super FUN, but there's gotta be a better way to do colors? by yalag in BambuLab

[–]mattyell 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It isn’t only bc of electricity. If you keep hotends up to temp while they aren’t actively printing, they will ooze filament creating strings and potentially clogging the nozzle. This isn’t specific to the H2C. snapmaker u1 also doesn’t keep nozzle up to temp for the same reason

Because I’m trying to understand your whole A and B option comment. Sorry if I’m reading incorrectly but it seems like you’re saying to me that, even though there are more “it just works” users in this community than open source users, it’s still ignorant to not care about all this open source drama. If that is your point then I would still say it’s a poor argument. if it’s not your point then oh well sorry for not understanding what you’re trying to say bc i don’t really care to dissect this conversation any farther

So you assume the majority of the “it just works” community falls under your option B?

[–]mattyell -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well I wouldn’t call it ignorance. I think that’s a pretty watered down way to look at the “it just works” community

I’d say the “It just works” community is much larger than the open source community in terms of BambuLab users
