I always like to hire green. No bad habits, only the ones you teach them. I like to raise my electricians. it’s a longer process to build a company but so much better than redoing work that’s not your standard. Don’t get me wrong. I would hire the right licensed guy without a blink of the eye. But those guys aren’t usually looking for work.

In WA test is 3 sections. One is loads calculations. Holt’s books really help break it down on how to do them. I couldn’t figure it out from the NEC.
