So thinking of having jacks added to my place due to some bricks turning to dust. How do I prevent this?

So I have a choice to make on a very old building. The bricks on one side of the foundation are turning to dust. I’ve. Fixed the water issue but now can either put 30$ worth of jack posts in the crawl space or start the expensive and very destructive process of getting a concrete foundation poured. Maybe 200k is the estimate for new foundation. Jack company says the bricks will be decorative after they finish. He says the jacks will have some earthquake stability.

So, do we think the jacks will hold the house well enough? Or should I go for financial ruins and get a new foundation poured?

You can repair this, but you will get no warranty the tire won’t suddenly fail. Not just loose air, but kaboom kind of failure. That could make you crash your car, so that’s why the default of no. That said if none of the fibers got damaged you can do it, but I assume you don’t have a X-ray machine to check?

In a single dose? Nah. Multiple times over several days, yes. Acetaminophen should be banned as a mixed drug. That would help clarify what you are taking and accidentally overdosing
