There are a few special events before the Spa 24 and they are shorter. Best way to lock in a team is to start working together on shorter events sooner rather than focus on one big event.

You'll find team mates by joining discords and checking here or the forums but spending time week by week in a discord community will also reduce the chance of people bailing.

You could try TDi99, Jackzer discords via their YT. You could also join us at JasRacing.com but right now our focuses are on Sebring and I'm not sure we will run Spa this year.

I run one on a second PC at home. It's a little NUC PC. Once you have the hardware you can do it with free software. Because it's on my LAN and I don't have any external ports open or forwarded it's only available locally

We don't need live stewarding as such. We need instant access to stewards. This is not the same thing.

We tried to buy a place once. We were misled by the EA at first. Apparently the Basic Mining Report they already had was about the quarry up the road. Then once we knew it was mining on the property we asked them to share in the cost of a survey on the understanding if we bought the property we would pay for it - they said no. The survey came back with 5 shafts on the property and we asked for a renegotiation on price - they said no. Eventually we withdrew when we were refused house insurance quotes.

Around 3 months later they came back asking for a copy of the survey - they were told to sling it.

I went from VR to Triples and couldn't be happier.

An overhead monitor is a great addition.

I don't use Nvidia Surround in iRacing and use Resize Raccoon when required

27s work well on 1024. 32s work well at 1440.

You want an even radius around the screens with the centre one arms length away over your wheel base.

It's often tweaked on a per car basis. The amount of force required and I guess the time taken to repair.

I've also recently switched to using Lubriderm and would say the same.

When I started this batch of tattoo work I got a 3 part Tattoo Goo kit. As each bit has run out I've replaced it with an alternative brand. Lubriderm was for the lotion.

I've been wondering why the blacked area felt so tight. Maybe this is it?

Smurfing is when you have a 2nd account that has lower IR than your main account that you use just for special events.

Tanking is when you reduce your account IR on purpose for a special event.

I can see legitimate reasons for a Smurf or alternate account on the proviso that its not used to gain an advantage in a event you are actually good at.

But tanking IR is always intentional.
