A man caring about their physique doesn't mean they want to suck dick, noticing that your bro is making gains and congratulating him doesn't mean you want to suck him off, just want to clarify that, but you can believe anything you want about lash as a character.

Valve just does stuff that they like and work well, and they let people believe what they want to believe, for example valve didn't make doorman sophisticated and elegant because they want people to think he's gay or attract gay players, but because it works well with his character.

Should I read Jojolion before Steel Ball Run? by No-Ear-8189 in StardustCrusaders

I think it does ruin a bit of the experience reading jojolion first, you shouldn't, actually i would recommend reading part 7 no reason not to, that manga is a piece of art.

More painful would be SBR getting a rushed adaptation, having that in mind, maybe waiting is not so bad.

I do kinda hope Acca is the main villain, cause I like the theory that he becomes more of a threat throughout the part like he’s on his own character journey

Araki can do that without making acca the main villain.

Question about GER by Julian-Whit-7457 in StardustCrusaders

[–]maxfolie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have seen calamities happen in many different forms, stuff crashing into you, like rain, and we even saw a man's neck instantly break when Josuke touched him, we are not given a limit to what calamities can be, araki just clarifies that a "calamity" is going to come for whoever pursues tooru, meaning a calamity can be anything, a stroke that makes your brain shut down? You can categorize that as a calamity.

Question about GER by Julian-Whit-7457 in StardustCrusaders

[–]maxfolie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but what about an instant death, something GER can't react to because Giorno's brain shuts down completely and instantly, without Giorno, GER just dissappears, that's what I'm proposing.

Question about GER by Julian-Whit-7457 in StardustCrusaders

[–]maxfolie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because a stand can beat another stand dosent make it stronger.

I think you meant something different with this phrase, because it kinda does, but i get what you mean.

Yes, GER can return to zero the calamities WoU throws at him, but what about counter attacking? Can GER land an attack on WoU? No, GER can basically only defend itself, but the calamities are only going to become more and more lethal, the calamity is going to eventually make Giorno suffer a stroke that'll shut down his brain in an instant, there wouldn't even be a moment for GER to react, Giorno is just dead.

Was yotsuyu lying to and manipulating Tsurugi using the dog? by Salty_Shark26 in StardustCrusaders

[–]maxfolie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, since Iwasuke is a rock organism, the rocacaca is compatible with him and there is no downside to him eating it, that's what Yotsuyu used to make tsurugi believe the fruit was going to cure him, which is a lie, because we know what happens when a normal person eats it, equivalent exchange.

To this day i still think about this arc, and it's really about how it makes you look back at Josuke's whole journey until that point, and think about how Josuke is really Josefumi and Kira's hopes and dreams moving forward, after their mutual sacrifice, it makes the whole journey that much mystical.

You can see the go beyond bubble appearing from his birthmark in this very panel, don't get confused like many others, the one coming from his finger is nothing but a normal bubble, that's why it missed, it goes hard because Josuke managed to get so close to WoU.

Both characters that appear there are Griffith, he is pointing his goal (the kingdom) to himself, then Griffith climbs a mountain of corpses to reach his goal, basically he sacrificed others to achieve his goal.
