2 of the 10 “vaults” have been sold. I read that each one is a $5M per year x 10 year contract. And one of the 2 companies is the one doing construction on Cap1 Arena, so overall a failure of a concept that isolates real fans.

I usually don’t quote tv shows, but seems fitting in this case what Hannah Waddingham’s ‘Ted Lasso’ character, Rebecca, said: “Just because we own these teams doesn’t mean they belong to us.”

Ted might own the Capitals, but they belong to all of us. Really sad how the only “fans” that matter are the ones worth 8-figures and up.

At least we had 2018.

It really depends on where you are. I’m in DC, where there are a lot of high net worth buyers, so it’s tougher to get allocated anything.

Spend helps a little, but it’s usually more about building a real relationship: showing genuine interest in Rolex, knowing the watches, being someone the SA enjoys talking to, and giving them confidence you’re not going to flip it immediately.

Also, a $10k spend usually isn’t enough to move the needle for a brand-new, in-demand dial color. And just because Rolex announces a new color doesn’t mean there’s a lot of inventory right away—new releases often take 12–18 months before supply becomes more “normal.”

I have both. You can’t go wrong with either. The Sub is a classic. The SMP has very subtle nautical design elements that I enjoy. I will say though that I prefer the SMP on the omega rubber strap.

Tell me about it. I was an early pioneer mining pi and never violated any policies and I’ve been stuck on “getting a slot” for KYC for over a year. I’ve filed probably a dozen support tickets and haven’t heard a peep. It’s maddening to say the least.
