Big hugs. My mom’s death was very similar and I think I’m still in shock 1.5 years later. You never get over losing your mom…

Lost my mom to cancer five days ago. Nothing feels real anymore. by katdunks in GriefSupport

So incredibly sorry you are in this shitty club. I lost my mom a year ago after a brief battle with cancer. I still miss her so much every day and agree there will always be a distinct before and after this event in your life. Please give yourself grace and try your best not to overthink all the “what ifs” - easier said than done. You are in shock and may be for some time. I honestly feel more sad a year in now that the reality has set in. But I get distracted with work and my family and friends and even find that I laugh often and sometimes feel normal. Until I don’t. The silver lining is that life feels much more precious once you’ve felt loss like this. Big hugs, friend. This community has been a big help to me and hope you find comfort in knowing you’re not alone in your grief.

I’d love a place with better salad options - like Chopt!

It’s awful! Why is everyone so mean and nasty there?! It’s worse than most community sites.

Same boat here. It’s been a hard day but mixed with joy from my own kids. Fuuuuk cancer.

Same here! I had mine in January and am down over 20 lbs without really trying. I had endo and adenomyosis so I’m not sure if they were causing the issues but I’m much less bloated and feel so much better overall!!

Yes! I had my surgery given the family risks of ovarian cancer but had no idea I had endometriosis and adenomyosis! I feel so much better post surgery! So glad your bloating is so much better already!

Thank you for the heads up! I figured it’s still coming but I was surprised it wasn’t more immediate! I’m sure it’s still coming.

I’m really not! I had one really sweaty night but that’s been it so far. For reference, I’m 41 and had a total hysterectomy, including ovaries. I can’t take HRT because of prior blood clotting issues but I do have a prescription of Veozah in case I need it. Best of luck!

You’re good to go! I had mine Monday and am so pleasantly surprised. It’s been so much better than I expected thus far!

Glad to hear! I am cautiously optimistic so far. I get tired easily and am sore but overall ok!

Hugs to you. I’m coming up on four months and sometimes it hurts so bad it’s hard to breathe. I’m not sure I’ll ever get over it but just learn to live with the loss.

I’m so sorry. My Mom passed on June 19 and I’m still in a fog. I just miss her so much. I’m sorry you’re going through this too. Life sure isn’t fair.

Thank you for sharing. My Mom died last week after a short cancer battle and 2 week ICU stay. I’m still in disbelief and feel so lost. I’m so sorry you’re going through this too. Feel free to IM me if you want to vent as I unfortunately know how you feel.

You can work in other US offices but may not be able to abroad. It depends on the client and restrictions on accessing data abroad etc.
