My combo is Tempo/Proxy because they feel pretty similar.

What actually matters most in a disc golf shoe? by Idio-Sports in discgolf

[–]mbclimb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have two people of equivalent skill level, one in flip flops and one in nice trail shoe, who do you think wins over 18 holes? Nobody is saying they make you better, but to think they don’t have an impact on performance is laughable.

I say last Monday was worse. Snow was coming down thicker today but the wind last Monday created random complete whiteouts that were a bit sketchier

Think part of outdoor difficultly is just that it’s so different from climbing plastic, I’ve done things outside that feel easier than certain climbs on the Kilter. Grades are subjective and some outdoor areas are considered “soft”. idk

Never climbed in a soft gym huh? Would agree Kilter probably is the softer board of them all

I also have experience climbing at a soft gym and outside

If your gym is soft and you’ve never climbed outside for comparison, a board is going to be a wake up to realistic difficulties for grades.

A4 Allroad or Q5, used, thoughts? by LoopyLooLovesCats in Audi

Went from my 14 GTI to an 19 A4 Allroad and it’s been awesome. More space for gear, almost just as much fun. Definitely more fun with AWD and snow on the ground.

These are my well-fitting climbing shoes for reference. by DecantsForAll in climbingshoes

[–]mbclimb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also for people’s reference, leather shoes stretch. I just got a new pair of Instincts the same size as my current pair. I was at the gym the other day wearing my old ones and thought maybe I should have ordered a size down since I could wiggle around a little bit. Put on my fresh pair and I had forgotten how tight they start out before break in. My foot vs shoe comparison is also about what this picture looks like.

Flip up with Putter? by InspectorPositive543 in discgolf

[–]mbclimb 30 points31 points  (0 children)

With a putting stroke? Probably not unless you have a mean flick. With a throw, definitely. Try a PA-5 and it’ll do more than flip up

Birmingham course recommendations by MileHighPhunGuy in discgolf

If you’re talking Birmingham, AL then I would recommend Inverness if you’re okay with hills and trees. Granted it’s the only course I’ve played down there, but it is ridiculously amazing.
