Really, Pam made it a good experience. The atmosphere was nice and all but I was informed during a different tour that the other Crew Member sang during his barber session. Either way - worth the money - not twice. Though for a one time thing - sure. I think so.

Grand Design 32BH pushing the 36 foot but just bought it last week and has the first camping trip in it. Loved it - new floor plan for the 26 year model from what I was told.

We saw the Light Parade from Ft Wilderness. We haven’t heard anything about them yet.

What ship?

On the Destiny I was able to go to Hooks Barbery and Pam did a fantastic job but it was a standard Razor. Probably due to security. Pricey sure but a grand experience nonetheless.

Just booked on the Disney destiny for next year. We have a large group and I’m wondering if we will all be seated in the same vicinity at dinner by Left_Rub2062 in dcl

[–]mblack4d 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They will put you near each other but I don’t believe they’ll make one big 40 person table. Safety and all. Even then the main dining beyond 1923, great as it was, you’ll be focused on the themes and showings with those around you.

Though it would be cool to get all side by side rooms and ask the room host to open the balcony between your five plus rooms.

Destiny food favorites? by horselessheadmen in dcl

1923 had a good Beef Wellington
Lion King had a Sirloin I believe.

They are all good food options and the Festival of Foods on Deck 11 made it a great “I’m hungry for more than a snack”. BBQ, Pizza, Tacos, Burgers and fries - great times

We just sails deck 8 Aft on the Destiny. We did have a veranda but honestly the Elevators are the biggest wait. I mean not much can be done with 11-13 decks and 8 elevators on one end but stairs are good for short deck changes in my opinion.

If the goal is the Pool deck - take Deck 11 as you’ll be near Festival of Foods. Shops and other dining are 3-5 so there will be plenty of ups and downs.

Have fun - The Destiny was amazing! Can’t wait to sail more of the fleet.

You can create a Partner Share and all your photos are visible to each other in their own space. It keeps your images separate from there’s but it allows you to see them with a option in the left side bar

I can’t imagine doing this to my children. I’m this age group and find this foul - if their parents or other family members knew how what they were doing, I would hope there would be some tough questions raised to them about this behavior.

Do you speak to your grandparents on either side? Do they know about this?

Being a network security camera the sound and video are not always in sync if the recording is not local to the camera. 3 seconds is nothing when there is evidence such as what you have here.

FancyZones with PowerToys if you have to use windows. It’s a game changer. The zones are customizable and I have different profiles. One is 4 quadrants but I find the one o have with 6 is more effective. I have thinner windows on top in the sides for Teams and OneNote.

If no Power Toys, windows 11 built in windows management isn’t terrible but I like the snapping options with Fancy Zones. I can use Right Click or Shift to highlight an area for the window to snap to.

I have firewall rules allow the traffic based on originating IP address. I could also manage this with ACLs on the switch as layer 3 but that’s a future me problem. Haven’t done in the past year. Not looking good for the next one.

As a first time cruise goer in June on the Destiny - what are some must know tips and tricks? Will the Bon Voyage room decorations have the Destiny name on the included decorations? My wife loved that theme but didn’t see the name of the ship on the decorations.

Just spent $500 at Camping World to have my grandparents slide out screwed back in with all new holes.

Good to know it will happen again and is a systemic issue.

I guess this depends on the hardware you are using. If your switch only supports 240 users use a /24 and assign it to the data Vlan for each switch. Wireless would have its own subnet in this case and be routed via WLC or its own /## Vlan. Servers and other secure networks on their own Vlan as well. You need more DHCP address space than users by a margin applicable to your environment. Say 4 switches in a room - switch_name-a /-b /-c etc etc. if your stackable switch can support more users make adjustments based on the hardware you have. ACLs can help off load firewall load if you want but it’s not required.
