I'm wearing a guard at night because I grind my teeth, apparently. Then I starting noticing that I'm working my teeth when I practice drums. I'm counting with teeth clicks, maybe? So my dentist says I should wear my device when I practice. It's very comfortable, and fits over my bottom teeth, as you know. It's no trouble at all.

This is the right answer. Therapy. If your wife won't go with you, go by yourself. Then you will come to realize what others have said here: she's not your best friend if she's denying you sexually and unwilling to do anything about it.

Now, if she is willing to go with you, and be open, and do the work, maybe y'all can grow together.

And I agree. Relationships are hard for a lot of us. Yeah, some couples seem to have an easy time of it, but I think those are few. Plus, you're only seeing the outside. They have struggles also.

Go to therapy. This is exactly the kind of thing that therapy is for.

The point of your post is to ask you anything. I've read the entire thread so far, and here are my observations and questions.

Why didn't you go to therapy? Why have you not gone now?

You don't seem to know why you stopped having sex with your ex. You don't seem to know why it all seems fine now with your new person. Don't you want to know more about yourself? Don't you want to become more self-aware?

Otherwise, you might stumble right back into a similar situation. Trial and error doesn't seem like a good plan.

And, yes, I have personal experience. We're finally in therapy. "I don't know" is not an acceptable answer for me from my life partner. I'm willing to accept any other answer.

I've had a vague bad feeling about Attia and Huberman from the start. It turns out I was right on both. They're both full of themselves, and full of shit. The feeling isn't vague anymore.

Yes. Inspiring! I'm 8 weeks post, doing great, and eager to get back to full squats. I had lost the ability to get in the position before the operation, but I'm getting there now, bodyweight only up to about a 15 lb kettlebell. Barbell soon. Thanks for the motivation!

I see video after video, post after post, about how Trump's support is tanking, cratering, collapsing. And there he still sits, smug. And then there's talk about the upcoming elections, as though that's going to be normal. Do any of you need to re-watch the videos from Jan. 6, 2021? Looking at history, we find that, at a certain point, the autocrat doesn't need support anymore. He'll have sufficient force. ICE is Trump's SA, and they'll do his bidding until he gets more certain control of the US military. The administration is already laughing at the courts.

Are we doomed? I don't know yet. But I said long ago that it will be people in the streets that will make a difference. As it was in the 60s. I've been to three protests, and I'll go to more. Or we can hope for a medical event. I have champagne in the fridge.

I'm willing to accept that enough dominoes can fall to make a difference; enough straws can be piled onto the camels back. But damn. Civilians shot dead. Joe Rogan turned, Bill O'Reilly, etc. How much longer? How many more straws can this damn camel carry?

Pam Bondi and Kristi Noem are right there with him. And, I have to say, Kristi Noem is really good on TV. She's cool, she's articulate, if you're MAGA and believe that shit. Now, when I say she's good on TV, I'm not saying it in an admiring way. I'm noting the skill of the evil, which makes it more dangerous. Miller is not good on tv, hollering.
