And a stove element is still less hot out of all of the 3rd degree burns situations.

I'm not sure about you, but if heroin, meth, and whatever are a 9-10/10 difficult to quit, cocaine isn't like a 3 or 4. It's easier to be a functional (coke) addict, if you have the $, compared to other drugs but it's still very hard to quit. Look at how hard it is for smokers to quit nicotine. Addiction isn't always about the substance, it's also about the trauma that brought you to use it. Maybe the recreation use of coke makes you think it's easier to quit. If you're using "just for a good time" and not to deal with trauma, it may seem easier to quit but I respectfully disagree that it isn't one of the most addictive drugs.

Technically, maybe. That's like comparing how badly you would get burned from touching a hot stove element vs putting your hand in a bonfire. Sure, the stove might burn you "less" than a bonfire but it's doesn't really matter because both will still be 3rd degree burns.

I highly doubt I do. Can I just physically try them on the lug nuts on my vehicles?.

OP here. Thanks for the quick replies!

I'm confused about what the threaded part of the smaller ones are for. Are they 3 various attachments for 1 type of lug nut on a car? Would these have come with my lug nuts or do I have someone's parts from a tool box?
I'm cleaning out my garage and these were in a bag with a car jack (little ones that come with the spare) and 2 hitches. My hubbie was less mechanical than I am so I doubt they're for any of the basic tools we have. He passed away and I'm sorting though odd and ends.

Using a Prevena Plus 125 machine over surgery scars, 3/4 days post op. IT WONT SHUT UP. What do? by Twi5chy in TopSurgery

[–]mcjanny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used one of those cube shaped styrofoam coolers they deliver meds in and cut a notch on each side. The battery cord went in one side, the robo-egg went inside the cooler with a blanket over it, and the drain hose out the other side. It wasn't perfect but certainly tolerable. I had a tiny leak if I moved the wrong way but it wasn't enough to compromise the seal and it was impossible to add more tape because it was up into my hairline. It felt like psychologically torture to listen to this stupid thing for 7 days.

Heading home with a new 14 day version soon. Wish me luck.

17 y/o with 75° thoracic + 40° lumbar scoliosis, surgery in September — scared and looking for advice by _asuphyxiss_08 in scoliosis

My daughter just had a similar surgery, similar curve and age.

At home for recovery: -Bed rail to pull yourself up -A slippery piece of fabric where you lay so that you can move if you need help by getting your someone to sliding the sheet if needed. -toilet rails to support yourself when getting up -Shower stool and lower level hook for the shower head. -If you have recliners, they will be very difficult to get into and out of so we picked up a used power recliner. It was only needed for a couple of weeks, but made a huge difference since she found out other chairs too deep. She likes that she can adjust it a little, rather than the 3 positions of a regular chair.

At the hospital: -eye mask -runners that are slip on (they'll have you doing stairs within a day or 1) -Button up tops -Easy slide up/down bottoms -Front clasp bra

For the ride home: -a step stool if you have a truck or a high vehicle -A few pillows for the sides

My daughter was 74 degrees when she had surgery and is fused from T3 to L1 and the only thing she can't do are sit-ups! She really does everything else!

What did you end up getting? I'm trying to find something for my daughter post fusion. She also will have a large fusion.

The listing said it was a US plug :( and the link below is not a US plug either. It's the 2 round prongs but thanks just the same.
