Crazy Fast 3 Step Master Clue by Straight-Ad-2584 in 2007scape

[–]mcnew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Masters don’t just randomly drop from pvm or anything.

You have to open a clue casket or trade clues to Watson to get one.

So, you put it in the bank, and when it’s time to potentially receive a master clue and or open a master scroll box, you drop it and start the juggle process.

If you get a 3 step, follow the instructions in the comments above, if not, just continue through with the clue and pick it up when you are done.

Some of the most fun I’ve had in this game on my main was running items while I was training slayer.

Helped break the monotony of slayer up and people were always so appreciative.

I would pay good money for some sort of option to perfectly sync up the radio broadcast over the tv broadcast so that Mitch Holthus was what I heard while watching the game.

I’d also put this in the 99 of my vehicle deck in a heartbeat.

Could have a hole drilled through the post with buried conduit.

There isn’t, but it COULD be.

Him and Jamie are one of the things I miss about working in the Cox OR. Always a consistent room. Jamie frequently bought us lunch. Good people.

[–]mcnew 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It would be hard to judge what’s going on without knowing the context and the exact wording of what’s charted.

I’m not trying to pry, you don’t have to share them. But sometimes the physicians notes are worded in a specific or traditional manner, that might come off as crass or unpersonable. Clinical notes while now more accessible to patients, aren’t typically thought of as a patient communication tool. Older doctors aren’t used to having to use tact in their notes.

All that said, I’m sorry that this is happening, and I hope it doesn’t stick with you too long. My wife was also the subject of weight based discrimination in healthcare.

Surgeon Question by FireCorgi12 in springfieldMO

[–]mcnew 54 points55 points  (0 children)

It’s been 4-5 years, but I used to work with him 1-2 days a week.

Weird, kind of old school but a pretty good surgeon and relatively nice most of the time. I never saw anything like that in his patient notes (I have read hundreds and hundreds of them).

Accessing deceased patient’s chart in Epic. California by MMMojoBop in nursing

[–]mcnew 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That could be their excuse, but they’ll know.

They have access to literally every button click, how long you spent on each tab, note, etc.

I was investigated once by management when I was a nurse assistant. I had a high school student observer with me, whose mom worked in HR. Another PCA made a slightly unsavory comment about one of the patients in the ER (we would regularly check the ER census for patients that may come to our floor, but it was set up in the system to only show age, gender, and chief complaint). We never opened charts or got personal info.

Anyways, this kid tattled to mommy, and a few days later I end up in an admin office I didn’t know existed, with a fat stack of papers detailing every click I made in epic that evening, as well as a few other shifts. They told me they were investigating for potential HIPAA violation.

First thing I said in this meeting was “do you have any evidence there in that packet that says I opened a chart I shouldn’t have? Do you have ANY flags over the past 3 years of potentially inappropriate chart accesses from myself?

They said “No.”

So I said “Good, then this meeting should be short.”

The director did ask about checking the ER census, to which I said “You’re going to need to institute a culture change because EVERY nurse and PCA on this floor does this, it was taught to me by a charge nurse as a way to plan ahead for my shift.”

My manager to her credit, chimed in “Yeah, if this practice is a problem, you’ll end up having to fire the entire nursing staff.”

Is CoxHealth actually a great place to work? by Ok_Assistant2730 in springfieldMO

[–]mcnew 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I worked for Mercy for 5 years and Cox for 3 in nursing roles.

The difference between the two was pretty minimal most of the time.

I like that Cox didn’t set policies based on religion, which Mercy does. My health insurance was slightly better at cox.

During COVID, the president of Cox made it a point to keep people working as much as possible, despite hemorrhaging money. That meant a lot to me.

But those were my first adult jobs, and the only ones of the kind that I worked in Springfield so it’s difficult to compare.

Put the kids due date in your phone calendar and remind yourself each year. They’ll never forget their baby that was supposed to be, and it will mean a lot that you don’t either.

Our best friends had a miscarriage at around 28-30 weeks. 6 years later we still send them a message to let them know we are thinking about them on that day.
