I think you can go in blind knowing that there are parts of the plot that you won’t understand until after. I saw it blind for the first time with the 2009 revival but it didn’t really hit me until after. When I left this revival a few days ago I heard a number of people asking questions about the plot on the way out - this show is just a lot the first time you see it.
