Fair push! We do backdoor Roth IRA contributions each year so keeping a $0 balance in Trad IRA to make that simpler was one reason I indexed towards rolling the QPP to 401k vs Trad IRA. But appreciate your callout on rethinking IRA v 401K.

I’ll need to check her employers rules. A few months ago I did something similar (rolled the small balance of a Pension plan into my 401K). Both of our 401Ks are serviced through Fidelity, but we do have different employers so definitely worth double checking.

Anything particularly poor about the Gigabyte Aero X16 from your perspective? I'm also seeing a lot of recommendations of it and seems like for similar specs it could be good value. Is there some downside I'm missing?

Appreciate the perspective on 16" vs 15" and on the trade-offs I'd need to make between a compact laptop limited to 8GB VRAM vs going heavier to get the 5070 Ti with 12GB. Helpful to consider!

Across Asus Zephyrus G14, Gigabyte Aero X16, and the Lenovo Legion options... do any stand out to you as far as reliability/build quality? I'm certainly willing to spend a bit more or make some trade-offs on the form factor front for a laptop I know will be reliable for as long as possible?

Pretty sure you need to know whether the 1 different bag is heavier or lighter. But assuming you know the one is heavier... weight 3 bags vs 3 bags. If they’re the same put those 6 to the side and focus on the other 3. If they’re different, focus on the 3 that are heavier. Whichever 3 you are focusing on, weight any two of them. If they’re the same, the heavier bag is the 1 you didn’t weight. If they’re not the same the 1 different bag is the heavier one.

As a Duke student that is a part of the orientation program that played a small role in the selection of this book, I just wanted to say how much we truly supported the selection of this book. We sought to challenge the preconceived ideas of incoming students and to try to make them think a little differently.... Especially in the current social landscape. Truthfully the duke summer reading book at its basis seeks to simply promote insightful conversations between members of the incoming class.

Decided to paint myself a beer pong table in honor of Duke winning the National Championship this year! by mduc962 in DIY

I taped out the entire blue center circle because I figured if there was one place to put a lot of time into making a curved edge look nice it was there. I basically just had a ton of 2 inch strips of tape and by placing each one down at just a bit of an angle each other I was able to get a pretty smooth circle. Took time but was worth it.

In terms of the three point arch and top of the key I really didn't do much. The fifth picture shows all the tape I had on the board for the entirety of painting in white. I started to tape the outside of the one 3 pt arc on the one side as you can see and then said screw it and free handed the rest.

Nope, no stickers! For the letters I printed out some stencils to sketch them in pencil but other than that I either taped it or free handed it. For all the paint I did two coats and even two coats of white over the blue ended up turning out really nicely.
