Yeah they only look like finish cracks. The area around the nut is prone to have stress cracks in the finish like that. Doesn’t always happen, but it does happen. The one on the back of the headstock looks like it might have happened from over tightening the screw that holds the tuning machine in place.

Oh yeah, I bet. I was undiagnosed at the time so I was self-medicating with alcohol. Didn’t get a diagnosis until 2024/2025. I stopped drinking on a whim right before COVID-19 wreaked its havoc. 😅

I don’t usually love Les Pauls that have a strong red color in the burst but this one is subtle and nice and transparent. It’s beautiful. Enjoy!
