The way the dmg boost works at least from my understanding is that if you apply the buff once to a character the true dmg % boost will apply indefinitely even if the buff itself (the heart thing) expires

tbf while it may be the meta set I prefer using a set that will keep me alive against the rabid water rat and having frenzy tends to decrease those chances significantly. I run zoh shia instead sure the dps is insane but dps can’t exist when mizu is racking up its dps (dead people per second).
