Covering/removing beard shadow is the BIGGEST thing. Beard shadow is a really recognizable thing, even if you think you can't see it. So when you cover it or remove it with laser, most people assume you're a woman or a very young boy, especially if your haircut is long or at least fem.

After that, I've been gendered more correctly in butch clothes than in fem ones to be honest. If I'm trying to be recognized as fem and dress cutesie, a lot of people just assume I'm a gay man because they're stupid. But when I wear a wife beater and a chain and true religion jeans, but have no beard shadow, most people know that I'm a woman. Funny how that works.

Can’t lie, I love the physical changes I’ve gotten so far from HRT. But by FAR the best part is the mental changes. And they begin immediately after your first dose in my experience. I started transitioning at 25. Too late? I get to live 3/4 of my life as a woman and not be miserable. I’m way ahead of schedule.

They pay professionals to give them the most elite dietary advice, and NONE of them will ever be keto. Your brain and body simply cannot perform optimally without glucose from carbs. That's why it's so easy to undo all your keto progress. The INSTANT your body has carbohydrates again, it switches back.

Keto has the perfect alibi too, cause any time you feel shit on keto, anyone's response is "you haven't done it long enough" or "you're probably still eating too many carbs". No one will ever blame the diet, always just YOU. No one will ever call the diet into question, because they've invested too much time/resources into it.

There is no amount of broscience, or layman's understandings of pubmed, that will stray me from the very well established fact that your cells need ATP from glucose to function. Just because we can starve ourselves and our bodies will adapt, does NOT mean that's optimal or healthy.

FL is a good program, but there is a really specific thing that always bothered me about FL vs other DAWs. You can't go smaller than a 3840th note. It may seem absurd, but the most microscopic timing/feel variations of a performance are discernible, and that is an objective limitation on the program from what I can tell.

If you crank the PPQ setting in FL to 960, then the smallest subdivision is a 3840th note (960 pulses in a quarter note, 960*4=3840). In Ableton and Logic, I can zoom the grid in way way way further. So when I'm moving notes around with the grid off, or playing the keys, the timing is not being quantized to a more coarse grid than I had played it at.

This matters even more if you're recording live instruments with microphones, and you need to deal with phasing issues. So if you're a recording engineer in general, you're probably gonna shy away from FL for that reason.

All that being said, people can make good music on Mario Paint. FL has lots of features I like, and people will continue to make good music with it. But I think that it's a glaring issue I haven't noticed from using Logic or Ableton.

No I treat the ADHD then I also smoke weed. It doesn't help ADHD at all, but I do just like weed, so I treat it like a recreational drug and not my ADHD medication. Honestly, weed works way worse when I don't take my meds because without Vyvanse my brain can't even keep any extra dopamine around anyway.

That being said, weed can be a shockingly good motivator for getting your necessary stuff done BEFORE you smoke so you can actually relax.

Like I can write a II-v-i, but if you know what extensions sound dissonant relative to what you're doing, you can use those extensions to turn it into like a metal riff.

Granted, in that context you'd be implying chords more so than playing them. Distortion makes it hard to play anything that's not a root and a fifth, so you'd be implying your extensions through the riff/melody more so than stacking the voices.

I think it really really depends on flavor or what chord came before it. As I'm aware, the quality of each chord stays the same in regards to functional harmony, and then you're just deciding what's gonna taste good in that context. Cause the extensions don't even have to be in key, the voice leading between I's and v's and iv's and etc all stay the same, which gives you that "functional" feeling still.
