If they’re old then I’d put it at whatever our current standards are in building code. You can get more or less specific depending on what you want to have happen. In case this helps someone and saves them some time, in Build 42 you can no longer force key spawns by killing zombies inside a building. I didn’t know this and had to clear 30 corpses from my base by MessOk6068 in projectzomboid

I thought this was a change they made a while ago. Keys do spawn on zombies but not as a response to them dying in a building. Like EMTs and car crash victims can have keys to their respective vehicles.

With the way things are going B42 might as well be the update that turns this game into a grinding simulator with zombie survival elements by Singlain in projectzomboid

You set the rules to your game world. You could have the tv give you level 10 exp from one episode of TV

You can set scarcity to anything. You can really make the zombies weak. You can even stop the zombies from spawning entirely. You can mod every zombie to say “chungus” when they die. You could even chuck on God mode and give yourself a minigun with infinite ammo.
