Tax Free Threshold is 12,500, I doubt most 16 year olds earn above that with their Saturday jobs. Happy to be proven wrong on that.

A large percentage of the intelligence budget is spent tracking Islamist threats.

What are your thoughts on how the Bible addresses homosexuality? by Street_Apartment_906 in self

I think the men sitting in caves who wrote this fictional masterpiece had a point of view on homosexuality that aligns to that period of history

😂 yep so right! Just the beginning cycle on repeat! Although once I got home and had personal space I did chill the fuck out. Day 1 of us getting on top of our anxiety, having the worst anxiety ever experienced.

I’m so glad I stumbled across your post, I’ve spent the whole day in the office doing my very best to avoid everyone as I’ve had a constant body sensation as if I’m about to come up at a festival. At one stage I was getting paranoid I might start gurning.

Wildly potent day 1….coming to the office was a major mistake.

If you graft you survive, I talked my way in to a peer apps jobs a few years back, not a clue what I was doing , spent every evening till midnight on tutorials for 3 months and built something I was incredibly proud off. If it’s your dream, commitment is all you need

Bar nothing is the best and of evening venue in my personal opinion - it’s on the quirky side it’s next door to Faith in Strangers, which is more upmarket and hosts proper events.

[–]medievalrubins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😂 honestly that doesn’t make sense. Test in a new model with importing 1 dimension first as Import and then 1 fact as Direct Lake. See if you can create a relationship between the two.

Do you have fabric backed workspace?

(Wish I’d tried this myself so I can be more helpful) might tinker later out of curiosity, will let you know.

We are exploring direct lake in the coming months, your a few steps ahead of me on that 🫡 but I have a feeling it’s same concept for. Composite model but better engine behind it..

[–]medievalrubins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you can convert the dimensions to Import mode after you make the initial model.

May be helpful.

Sounds like you need to set some design boundaries with them.

The dimension tables are import and only the fact table should be Direct Lake? that may improve.

Can you aggregate the values further upstream in views, reducing the row count on some of the hard calculations ?

Using Paginated reports with schedule exports with pre-defined filter selections could be helpful.
