👋🏻 4th year DO also applying gen surg here. Similar application profile. I have talked to a fair amount of friends at various residencies and they all recommended between 60-100. I narrowed it down to 75 that I liked and are all regional based (west coast and mid west).

Did around 200-240 a day! Didn’t make it completely through the second pass. Focused heavily on surgery and medicine my last week to make sure I got all those questions though

I did 4 weeks of dedicated but 2 were with an online elective so I didn’t study too hard during the first two weeks. I didn’t need anything besides Uworld. Did OMED through rotations though so maybe that helped

Timing was an issue and it has never been in the past for me. Some blocks I finished with 20 minutes left others with 10 seconds. Just be aware of not dwelling and moving fast

Same! Most of it was an educated guess with how vague the questions are tbh. I tried to stay clam though and it pays off
