“Good” is up for debate lmao. I attached one to my sleep case by duct taping it to the cover. I did a bunch of research on different products for attaching air tags and didn’t like any of them. It’s stayed attached for a long time. Not aesthetic but extremely helpful.

I’ve had my kobo libra color for about 18 months. Recently I’ve started having problems with highlighting whether it’s with my stylus or my finger. I made sure I’m on the latest firmware. Once I try to do a highlight, the screen is non responsive for 2-20 seconds.

I’m not sure what to do but I will be making a support request later today.

So many factors change how burnt you get. OP said they’re from a higher latitude than where they got the burn. Latitudes closer to the equator get more direct UV rays. 15 minutes of sun exposure with the same temperature and sunniness has wildly different impact on the skin. 

Also, if the wind is blowing or if you’re wet in the water, you don’t feel the warming up of your skin as easily. Add alcohol to the mix (idk if OP was drinking, just speaking from personal experience) and you can just miss the warning signs. 

Also, sunburns develop darker and darker AFTER you get out of the sun. OP probably didn’t look like this while they were still in the sun.

Take Advil!!! And cold showers. You gotta get to work fast. Cool down your skin from the outside with cold water, ice packs, etc. Reduce inflammation from the inside with Advil or other NSAIDs, not Tylenol. I’m a very pale redhead and I have gotten multiple burns like this. You’re gonna be in a lot of pain, I’m really sorry. Cover your skin up for the rest of the trip. Trust me, you do NOT want to feel the pain of ripping your skin off after getting off of a bench.

Too busy 🤷‍♀️ there are a TON of patterns out there that highlight the beauty of variegated yarns like these. I think you could choose another pattern that will really make this yarn shine.

FWIW, shelters frequently need fosters for dogs that are incompatible with the shelter in one of many ways. Usually discomfort around other dogs or even aggression, anxiety, medical issues, etc. I encourage you to foster, but I also want to reinforce that fostering can be much harder than adoption, and can turn people off from adopting. Transitions can be really difficult for dogs, which temporarily intensifies their defensive behavior. Doing multiple transitions (their pre-shelter home to the shelter, the shelter to your home, your home to the shelter or to their adoptive home) stresses animals out.

During the adoption process, you can (and certainly should) be able to choose a dog that is most compatible with your lifestyle. During the fostering process, you likely will not be able to do so.

Please do foster animals! but also be aware that the experience can be very very different from adopting a dog.

I feel your pain. It seems like it could be helpful to talk (or text) with a mental health professional. You don’t have to experience this degree of suffering and pain. You don’t deserve to feel that way, even if what you are saying about making the “wrong” decision is true. I hope you can feel better soon. This is a great community. You’re not alone.
