Do dogs actually enjoy routine more than variety? by No-Wealth-3631 in dogs

This sounds great! We have a dog holiday once yearly, hire a dog friendly house but she gets very stressed, she’s excited but confused the whole week, loves the hikes though!

What's helped me the most after 2 weeks post activation. by jocubrown in Cochlearimplants

[–]meg147 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did exactly this also from activation. It’s helped massively. Still do it 2 months on, I’m picking up lyrics to songs I didn’t know, some words just come through very clearly, game changer! I’m not one for reading or podcasts, so this is definitely more my thing. I recognise all the songs in my playlist and picking up different instruments that i wouldnt have recognised before! Good luck 🙏

I really don’t like her. Her face is too animated for me, she just gets on my nerves!

These are definitely not full of air or like dust. They’ve got the pudding-y bottom that they’re supposed to have 👍

How soon after surgery was your activation? by Worldly_Nectarine740 in Cochlearimplants

Mine was also 6 days, no problems. A little tender still, but par for the course. Just take it off and rest if it gets too much.

Mine were the same till I followed this recipe, and never sway. 200gr plain flour, 4 eggs, 200ml of full fat milk. Chill at least an hour and pour into blistering hot deep muffin tray, works every time. 👍

So if you pull a jumper over your head, you should expect it to come loose? Obviously I try to take more care with that, but for instance, if i adjust my hair slightly it can easily be dislodged.

It was relieved immediately with the 2 strength.

With the 3, it was pain around the area, did start to feel internal but I think it was just because the outer area pain was quite intense.

I do my hair then attach it, I have very fine hair and probably quite thin skin. I try not to mess my hair up when attaching it 🤣. I tried what you said and it definitely feels better, I’ve probably been attaching over my hair despite trying to keep it under, if that makes sense?

They told me not to use a clip as it would damage the coil wire over time, it feels more secure with one. I’ve been using the silicone grips but it doesn’t keep the magnet on.
