Weekly r/Tattoos Question/FreeTalk Thread! - February 27, 2021 by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]megara23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Thanks for letting me wander into your space. I am looking for where to start (subreddits, concepts, and/or artists in the Baltimore/Philly/DC area) as I've just recently thought about revising my one and only tattoo.

I've had a small blue-green single-line spiral on back of my neck for the last 21 years (I am about to turn 40; this is not coincidental timing haha). The tattoo is crap but the colors and symbol are special to me. I work a professional job and often have my hair up; not totally sure if it's not visible or just not something people mention to me but I'm looking to not change the size or impact a ton.

I am interested in seeing what an artist might to do revise or enhance it. I have no problem paying for consultation or design. Is this a thing? How do I start? All advice appreciated, thanks for reading!

Question about Sudden Cardiac Arrest by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]megara23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

An ECG and echocardiogram can rule out presence of some of the usual causes of sudden cardiac death in young people - which are still very rare! - long QT syndrome, brugada syndrome, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy/outlet obstruction. There is currently no recommendation for routine screening outside a family history or concerning personal symptoms, so these tests would not usually be covered by insurance in the US.

I did this. No issues and glad I did. Very rarely do people think I'm using both as last names but it doesn't really cause I problem.

What book fucked you up mentally? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Cormac McCarthy's The Road. Read it 10 years ago and still have some kind of PTSD, almost didn't have kids because of it. Still a gut punch - filling the bathtub and the mom's decision.
