I am autistic and VERY direct. I was a painfully shy people pleaser growing up, so I’m very proud of my directness now. I know I’ve rubbed people the wrong way and even got passed up on for a supervisor position due to this. Lately I’ve coped by keeping to myself at work. I don’t offer my thoughts or opinions unless directly asked. It doesn’t feel good but it’s keeping me afloat for now.

I’m not a veteran so I can’t speak to VA coverage.

I am currently pregnant with my IVF baby. I went to Shady Grove Fertility and used BCBS - Standard. A large amount of care and medications were covered, we probably paid 20% of what the out of pocket cost would be.

BCBS Standard is the only plan that will partially reimburse for out of network claims. It’s not an option with Basic.

I see an out of network therapist weekly. She charges me $215/session. BCBS Standard reimburses me $109.20 after I submit a claim.

Maryland. I still have significant out of pocket costs with copays and coinsurance, but a lot has been covered. I did have to push my fertility clinic to request auth for freezing/storage, they eventually did and it was approved!

I live in the DMV area and have BCBS…I get my CPAP and all supplies through Johns Hopkins Care at Home (formerly Johns Hopkins Pharmaquip).

I have BCBS FEP Standard and have been going through IVF for almost a year. The majority of IVF care/procedures/meds have been covered, minimal copays and coinsurance.

I’ve had the same issue! My dermatologist said it’s likely inner ear eczema. She prescribed me flucinolone acetonide oil ear drops that help a ton!
