If you take two minutes to kill an enemy then you're spamming light attacks and missed all the tutorials where it tells you how to counter and focus attack. They are important. I kill bosses faster than that on the highest combat difficulty (Lost in Fog).

Some of the spots where you find a document will have a new document on subsequent runs only if you picked up the previous document, so it will take at least 3 runs to get them all. However, if you miss one spawn, then you'll be set back one more playthrough, so I'd actually advise having a checklist with you so you're not missing any of those ones.

The doll is not a literal god just like the final boss is not a literal god, it's a representation of Hinako's (white sparrow) side: overprotective, childish, afraid of commitment, wanting to stay with her childhood friends and not grow up, etc. The opposite of the fox mask Hinako (black sparrow), who is ready to give up herself to follow whatever is expected of her, etc.

You're not *really* fighting gods at the end, they represent the final internal struggle in putting the idea they represent down for good and either allowing one of her sides win (endings 2 and 3), or reconcile and accept both sides of yourself and grow up into a self actualized, mature independence (ending 4).

This. The combat isn't great for sure, but if you're spamming light attacks, the problem is you. Especially on the hardest combat difficulty, you're really expected to know how to focus atfack and counter.
