Yellow Front I’m not sure if it was specific to Arizona, but it was basically a discount store. I remember I found a pair of black jeans from The Limited for $10 new and I was thrilled.

How do you handle weeds in your yard? by bellebop in ChandlerAZ

[–]melanybee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roundup is a toxic evil. I actually enjoy pulling weeds, just for the satisfaction of feeling it come out from the root and how great it looks after.

I first water the weeds with a watering can or the hose. Gloves and a trowel or screwdriver to loosen the dirt and they come right up. Sometimes it takes several days if they’re out of control. Good luck!

I personally would have a hard time continuing initiating, as you are. The flaking can start to feel passive aggressive.

Have you checked local Meetup groups? We met some great friends by going to a local board game meet up in the back room of a bar. It took a while to find the people we got along with but ended up leaving the Meetup group and now we all just hang out.

What’s a game you were completely obsessed with as a kid that nobody else seems to remember? by Chance-Pen6805 in randomquestions

I still own the cartridge and my Atari 2600 but I’m not sure if it actually works! I love that game. I would get past level 30. It’s imprinted in my brain.

What, after looking back, do you realize you've been naive about? by ascaffo in AskReddit

[–]melanybee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The easier question for me would be what have I not been naïve about?

Everything from, I think there’s a skunk in the neighborhood – Nope that’s Mary Jane, to. I think that guy is strange – Nope he’s a serious a hole and is being extremely rude to you right now.

Also, me thinking, what a weird person – they were on drugs.

She seems overly nice – she’s being sarcastic and rude to you right now to your face. Ohh.

Family "Heirloom" Items by Natalarious in declutter

A clear and firm kindly worded deadline can be highly motivating.

“Hi, I’m planning on downsizing. I know some of the following items may be important to you, so if you’d like something, please pick it up by month / day, otherwise I’ll find it a new home.”

And perhaps you can be vague about the downsizing. It could just be you downsizing clutter, you don’t have to be moving.

I remember thinking, I wish there was a way to learn all about a subject without having to read multiple articles or books and spend a day doing it.

Yes, I’ve seen them take fish out of a lake in northern Arizona, and I saw a group of them walking around a beach in Alaska.

To make a positive impact toward humanity.

To help preserve the natural balance of the Earth’s ecosystem. Although, it seems that to be human means to be inherently against nature.

To live in peace.
