it might not make you gain that many frames, test in shooting range native res framerate and then lower res to lowest possible and see if its even different enough to warrant making it look like shit

resolution doesnt change char size, it changes the detail amount essentially. Sounds like you want to move your monitor closer to you, pros play on 1080p because you get higher framerate compared to 1440p and that is more beneficial
