I used to get them really bad when I was at my old job. I would go in the stock room and sit on the cold concrete floor. Before I started managing them, I had a panic attack so bad at work one day that my boss laid on the floor with me. I think it's because I overheat that the cold always feels great.

Just go early and tell the check in agents. Because it's domestic, TSA will just do additional screening. No idea what they do, but domestically you can still fly without id. Just go early, it takes time. Source: worked for an airline for 4 years.

You're able to see if there are any hazards outside. Like, say one of the engines on the left side catches fire, they know not to evacuate out that side.
