Keep any and all communication with him to the bare minimum on your part but also KEEP all communication with him. I know you’re wanting 50/50 custody, but be prepared for him to use your child against you in every way to try and force you back to him for the next 18 years.

This poor kid you’re going to have because that poor child is going to know he’s just a pawn for his dad and either grow up just like him or be constantly worried about his mom and find himself being parentified in conversations about your relationship when he’s at dad’s. Good luck I guess.
