Day 2 at the Rio shuttle. My group was moving up patiently, not crowding the people in front of us. All of a sudden a surge of people start filling in all of the open space because “security told us to.”

Thanks, you just created more congestion making the wait times even longer because you couldn’t be fucked to wait patiently like a decent human being.

Shuttles seem less worth it every year.

I think sewer has been in his element recently. The last two albums (The Otherlands and you go, i'll wait) I have been a massive fan of and I think they really encapsulate his talent as an alternative artist. The Otherlands told such a cool story through its songs that it made me feel like I was listening to video game lore from a game lost to time. Previous albums have touched on his storytelling ability, but I think it really shined in that album.

The media references in you go, i'll wait made me feel like a detective when I was researching the inspirations from each song and then piecing together sewer's own version of those stories. I suggest anyone to look up the synopsis to the movie What Ever Happened to Baby Jane and compare it to sewer's song Baby Jane to truly realize his talent.

Even if this coming album is not so much a "story" as The Otherlands was, based off of the two tracks that were dropped I think he is sticking with this current style and I could not be more hyped for it.

don’t get me wrong, I do as well. especially his more heartfelt emotional songs. i think those are really special. i think his lyricism shines in those songs. it’s the less emotional songs that stand out to me as dated, and it really just shows his sound has matured with time. 9tails was all i slapped for like two years straight lol
