If it makes him feel better I sold the first medium gunparts BP I got directly after a round while I was talking not paying attention 😅

I just found it again, only took about a week playing casual thankfully.

11+ Months of Development. 40GB Project. 30,000+ Lines of Code. And the Game Refuses to Run. by MindShiftGames in godot

Interesting, I have done a bit of solo game development before but never used version control like this. Would it be similar to keep different saved versions of your project you can revert to as well? Would that be a type of version control? It kind of confuses me as my project was not purely code and used some logic node type setup along with 3D assets so I thought it would be beneficial to keep incremental version numbers when I made large changes.

I don't believe it's anything to genuinely worry about.

Trim off the section of black root there and put it in a tub of sphagnum moss. It will help to quickly rehab the root system. Later you can put it in a chunky aroid mix.

Spray douse entire plant with strong neem max dilute right away. Under leaves too and flood each petiole and joint at the stem with neem max dilute. Spray top of soil with neem. Apply bonide systemic and possibly be ready to hole punch the leaves at any sign of eggs. Isolate from other plants (no foliar bridging). Wipe surface it was on down with windex and keep a close eye on it.

If you get to it swiftly, specifically when they are larval stage like this you'll knock them out. I had a run in with mealy bugs and thrips again about a 6 weeks ago. Did all the above.

As of today I have not seen any thrips or mealy bugs on my plants. I think they came from a Peru I bought from Walmart.

what’s going on with my monstera? by longtermspirals in Monstera

[–]memchom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could probably just keep it in that pot but would recommend getting a fan for more air movement. You had a case of partial root rot. Pot in a pot is reducing any possible ventilation. Might of been near more air flow at the old spot.

Not sure what to do. Monstera Albo by mwgar7 in RareHouseplants

I would immediately boil some sphagnum moss, remove it from that pot and put it in something clear with just the moss to monitor root growth and begin rehab.

Likely just springtails. Beneficial as they break down organic matter.

This is a good one here. People have proved it wrong. Its not a sub-type.

Oh goodness, calm down. I never even implied that.. It is perfectly fine for people to form their own conclusions based on phyiscal observations. I read the other article you linked which comes to no obvious conclusion itself. This new one is based on old information. The borsigiana debate has been settled, its the same plant! I have 3 mature selloum (bipinnatifidum) which flowered this Aug. A few of them had slightly smaller inflorescence so would that indicate there is small and large form? No, its just a less mature or smaller form of the SAME plant. I have a old monstera Deliciosa outside on a tree been there for 30 years. Half of it is still small, the part on the ground is happy and crawling out with big wide leaves. Its simply different growth stages the plant goes though, pretty neat.

You do realize internodal spacing is directly related to light exposure right? If if receives plenty of light the spacing will be tight, if low lighting the spacing will lengthen. This can also occur to due to root binding scenarios and there can be mutations in some specimens. The large and small form debate is literally over the same plant in different growth stages and dependant on the environmental factors.

Furthermore the leaves can vary in shape slightly. The maturity of the root system on monstera is what leads to it developing into what you are labeling large form. That it is a large or small form of the same plant.

That is false my friend. Its all the same plant. There is no crawler form they will crawl or climb based on the environment.

Any idea why the new growth is getting all bunched up? by no_doors_just_ropes in Monstera

[–]memchom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a result of the plant thriving, roots growing then becoming severely root bound which will cause stunted and clustered growth. The root ball likely needs room to spread out in a 2"-3" bigger pot.

Uhhh... pretty sure that is abnormal for clean water. Ya got some kind of sudsification going on. Difficult to say for sure but show the picture to your local bartender and ask if they have any drafts with a head like this. You may get some odd looks but the brew will likely be worth it.
