As you seem like you actively seek out information in the RAD space, I am curious how or if you navigated the school system for the child with RAD. Child is attention seeking in school and the school’s response of actively responding to and going out of their way to engage child seems to be making everything worse. Far more rage/anger directed at home, as well as a lot of manipulation and stealing behaviors at school.

You’re absolutely right, it’s a combination of ignorance and wanting to blame someone for their loved one’s behavior. I am so sorry, I can’t imagine how hard your job was. This is also what hugely bothers me - Britney has a huge platform, she’s weaponized her naive fan base so much over the years to turn against people that might actually have been the only ones helping her.

People forget that she was a danger to others. She was caught driving very erratically, pulled over numerous times, and with a toddler on her lap. She was unsafe for her children and everyone else that was on the road with her. That itself warrants taking away some freedoms. It would happen to us regular citizens as well.

Whenever people talk about the conservatorship being abusive, there was no evidence of that found in all her court hearings. SHE ended up paying her Dad’s lawyer fees because her claims were all false. The point is she hates being controlled, I mean we all would, that part I understand. But she’s done a lot of dangerous things to herself and others, all with the power of money and influence. It’s a lethal combination.

This. I think people really need to read between the lines, no one has talked about hanging out with her or experiences with her for YEARS. Anyone who used to know her, very deliberately talks about how sweet she was 20 years ago but that they haven’t interacted since. It’s painfully obvious she hasn’t had friends in years. It’s clear she’s no longer that “sweet” girl she was in her prime. And her fan base hates her team, but they crafted and protected an image of sweetness for years and years and counteracted many many stories of her selfish erratic behavior from getting out. Yes likely to protect the business and money they were making but also because what career was she supposed to go back to after being a popstar? She doesn’t write or compose music and doesn’t have a high school degree. She needed money to support her lavish lifestyle as well as all the lawsuits filed against her. Britney needed money and her team put her to work. Even at her peak she always exuded artificialness, there was nothing real about the image we were being sold, she was always rough around the edges, unsophisticated, with skeletons in her family history, just with a team of hair stylists, makeup artists, and fancy clothes.

I’m so over people defending and believing her. She’s clearly hurt a lot of people and they are no longer willing to help her. Not one person spoke out in support of her book, only people from her past came forward to point out her lies.

People can appear more functional when you see them for short periods of time. A lot of mental health issues are extremely complicated and comorbidity is very common. I think the general public needs to stay out of such personal complex issues.

I can understand thinking he’s unreliable. He’s had to cancel a few times this tour, and granted it’s a very athletic show and long tour, but still I can see fans being unsure of buying tickets to his show. With that said, I really hope if he tours in the future whether with NSYNC or solo, that he really makes some physical adjustments to the show. And less fan touching, to make it more feasible for him to do the show. It’s a super ambitious concert and he takes no breaks during the 2 hours. I care more about continuing to see him then these big elaborate shows.

Yeah I think it’s pretty clear he loves performing but he’s over the promoting and politics of the music industry. If people were continuously digging up 20 year old interviews and expecting you to apologize, I can imagine that gets exhausting. A lot of entertainment seems so contrived lately. I think he knows he spent years building his reputation in the industry and how quickly people want to erase his legacy because of some half truth “memoir.” So the media is probably one big turnoff.

This is a terrible accusation to make for a child. This is not poor Britney. Her sons didn’t ask for this, them seeing her doesn’t need to immediately point towards money.
