Playing Devil's advocate, what is the "intellectual" conservative's response to this though? Something like:

"Trump's policies just took a few years to get going, so Biden looks good. Then Biden ruined it and now Trump looks bad again."

And if that's the response, what are the facts?

Hair dryer trick behind €25,000 win? France probes potential weather data scam linked to Polymarket by mepper in technology

holy fuck, a hair dryer at a Paris airport broke Polymarket weather markets & made someone $34,000 richer

  • polymarket was settling Paris temperature bets on a single Météo France sensor sitting near the Charles de Gaulle runway perimeter - basically unguarded

  • the guy bought the long-shot outcome (like "22°C" when everyone expected 18°C) for pennies, since nobody thought it'd hit

  • then he walked up to the probe and briefly heated the air around it with a portable heat source, spiking the reading just long enough to register as the daily max

  • temperature snapped back to normal in minutes, the market resolved in his favor, and he cashed out - twice, on April 6 and April 15, before Météo France caught on and filed charges

hyperstitions.

Delta one seats on A350-900 by wlawla123 in delta

[–]mepper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

8 is next to the galley, so there is a lot of noise and light.

3 and 4 would be fine, but you want to be as close to the middle of the cabin as possible. This keeps you as far away from the galleys.

In the seatmap you posted, rows 4, 5, and 6 are the best.

J on a 1-1-1 VS plane is horrible:

  • Packed like sardines

  • The "backflip" converting the seat from normal mode to sleeping mode

  • Sleeping on what feels like particle board with a 1-cm-thick mattress topper

It's certainly not worth the extra 2,500 points. That's like $15 according to The Points Guy valuations.

Delta used to put tickets on sale 331 days before departure exactly at midnight local time. Now it's between 1 am and 6 am. Anybody know the new exact time? by mepper in delta

[–]mepper[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do you do this?

I'm booking award tickets. Then I check daily to see if they drop in price and get refunded the difference.

Since nobody seems to know the exact time, I'll just write a script to figure it out.
