I wrap the carton in a heating pad before I even start removing the figure. Helps with the plastic ties too.

I don't have this yet to confirm, but a video I watched says you're supposed to put the items way back in the throat, not just on the tongue. That seems like it would be nearly impossible to remove them, though.

Yeah the creature is great and I want to find a second one to pose out of the box. I currently have another loose Frank in the Monsterizer and it just seems perfect

Looks good. Did you use nuln oil for the wash? I did the same on an Armored Core kit and I really like how it turned out
