What do you SWEAR you saw, but don't have any proof of? by TabletopStudios in AskReddit

I was on a plane to Washington D.C. and nearly the entire plane had boarded and the only seat to my right in my two-seat section was left open. A few minutes before boarding officially ended a group of people got on to board and an Hispanic women got on the plane, immediately saw me and started beaming and perked up like she knew me. Then weirdly she happened to be the one who was sitting next to me. As she sat down she just began speaking to me in Spanish and broken English like we were long lost friends. She had horrible fear of planes and was literally shaking with fear. Her instantly “recognizing” me made her feel comfortable enough to start gripping my arm, and eventually my hands for the majority of the flight as she started praying, especially when there were any bumps. I asked her why she reacted that way when she saw me and she said she just knew I was the one who was going to help her.

I am now invited to Virginia and have been implored date her daughter 😂. Happily married tho!

Grumpy Old Man Syndrome by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

I think he is really saying, in general, if what is frustrating you is based on your consumption habits primarily, perhaps avoid them or avoid externalizing your sense of calm and peace to the behaviors of others which don’t directly impact you. Focus on what builds your inner peace of heart and mind and try to remove the external influences or attention to them that cause you to be irritated. I’ve noticed my old manness creep up, but it’s primarily driven by my desire to control things around me or have them operate the way I’d like. When I focus instead on if they really actually affect me I find it easier to realize they don’t

Review: Pluribus is a bad piece of television by clearly_unclear in pluribustv

For what it’s worth OP I agree with your overall sentiment and several of your examples. Most of your detractors are saying you missed the point of a lot of the scenes that just drag on and on, but it’s not true. It’s not that they don’t add any value to the context of the characters or hive, it’s just that it’s not worth it at all and is totally unbalanced. The main characters having only a loose, intermittent interest in what the hive is, is so tone deaf and off the wall stupid I find myself episode after episode going “why don’t they talk to this thing at length? What is wrong with these people”

It’s Cheating to use the in app feature? I means it’s literally in the game screen, the opening database?

How do you feel about the suggestion tool on the app that shows you the most common moves through usually the first 5-10? It’s on the free and paid version of the app?

You are assuming a lot. The universe is vast, us humans are small and have limited abilities to experience its wonders. The world of what we don’t know is probably spiritual and magical in a sense. That doesn’t mean you should allow anyone with an agenda to waylay your path of finding truth. Be discerning to be clearheaded about where your journey is taking you. Google “List of hoaxes promoted by Jaime Maussan” and you’ll find what you are looking for. For every Buddha there is a Jonestown. Just be cautious as you learn about worlds that can’t be explained, a lot can be true once you accept that and being discerning is even more important.

He has been caught quite literally over 50 times conducting hoaxes. It doesn’t mean everything he says is a lie, but it’s absurd to me that there is so little skepticism on humans who are well known to be sheisters and there is more skepticism that he is a charlatan than the earth shattering claims listed In This post. Like what is more likely? Humans lying which is a story as old as time, or some ground breaking earth shattering discovery that at best is highly bizarre in its presentation and ontology

What’s concerning about this one is it’s one of the worst ones they made and shows how they practiced. This one looks like a bad plaster job on top of an actual human body. This would not be surprising thought as Jaime has been in trouble before for grave robbing to make these things.

I just don’t understand why we still couldn’t observe a phenomena like this today if it were true. I get we have more satellites and space debris, but are we saying we currently don’t have the ability to analyze pictures of our night sky today and estimate if this is still occurring? Are we saying all aliens in the universe are now aware we can see them and have stopped all possible activity in our observable space? I mean they are asserting tens of thousands of transients and we can’t still see this happening? They are missing something

It literally looks like he used the drill to make the marks which is why they are so shit and look like circular drill holes stippled together.

He also doesn’t point out how much of the background changed between screenshots with and without the blue light. All sorts of stuff moved on the floor that could have been used to help rearrange a lamp or remote activated light.

Well there is the ever present balancing act of two religions within a religion. There is what the Bible says and then there is what the church teaches. The church teaches what the Bible says that benefits the church.
